Clothe Me

Weathered flesh, tears turned frost
Alone in the mercy of winter's wrath

An icy cavern in which I dug
Sorrow lined walls bear my craft

You hold the coat, my only hope
Yet this wall I built divides us

Blinded by grief I had not seen
Alone I'm left waiting for your outstretched hand

Trembling words halted by walls
Please clothe me for I did not wish to fall
